The last night of 2008 was a bitter cold and windy night. It would not have taken much for me to just stay home and watch TV - but I didn't! Bill and Billy were playing at the TK Club; and Nate and Amanda had their New Year's Eve party which turned out very nice. This year, Bob and Carol were there as well as David and Nancy and Jerry and Anita. It was great to spend some time with Bob and Carol. Bob is doing pretty good - he is in between treatments. Nate set up the "Rock Band" on Wii and it was a lot of fun watching them "perform". Unfortunately, Jarod wasn't there but boy, if he was, he would have "blown them all away"! I left around 11:15 to head to the TK Club to ring in the New Year with Bill. Corinne and the kids arrived about 11:58 ... just in the nick of time. After Bill and I had our "annual" New Year dance, I headed home. My sister called to wish me a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year
